Nominate a Teacher for the Big Apple Awards

You are invited to say “thank you” to an outstanding teacher by nominating them for the fifth annual Big Apple Awards!

The Big Apple Awards celebrate teachers across the City who inspire students, model great instruction, and enrich their school communities. Any full-time district, charter, or early childhood education center teacher may be nominated

A Big Apple Awards nomination is a great way to show your appreciation to a teacher for all of their efforts, and the message that they receive after being nominated is a reminder that all of their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.

Anyone can submit a Big Apple Awards nomination—parents, students, teachers, staff, and community members. Nominations for the 2017 awards are being accepted through Friday, December 9, and can be submitted by visiting the Big Apple Awards website. Submitting a nomination takes only a few minutes.
