Here at the Institute for Collaborative Education, we are committed to ensuring that all of our students have an equal opportunity to succeed and be happy both in and out of school.  We are a public 6-12 school located on the East Side of Manhattan, and families come in to our school community from a wide range of backgrounds.  

Through athletics, we have been able to help a large number of young people gain confidence, learn teamwork, grow socially, and have fun.  In an effort to ensure that all of our students have the same opportunity to continue this growth through athletics over summer break, we are trying to raise money to send 20 students to summer sports camp in 2017.

Last year, we were able to raise enough money to send three middle school boys to a weeklong overnight basketball camp in the Poconos.  All three boys came back with a new found desire to succeed on the court and in the classroom.  All three stated it was one of the best experiences of their lives.

As stated, we are aiming to send 20 of our students to an overnight sports camp in the summer of 2017.  100% of the money donated will go to paying for tuition, transportation, and/or acquiring necessary materials for the children to attend the camp.  This experience will be transformative for the 20 students who you can help send to overnight camp this summer.
